Man in his 50s dead after workplace accident at Netwatch Cullen Park
Gardaí have confirmed a man in his 50s has died following a workplace accident in Carlow
A man in his 50s has been pronounced dead following a tragic incident at Netwatch Cullen Park in Carlow.
Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of a workplace accident at 10:30 this morning.
“Upon arrival, medical treatment was being administered to a male aged in his 50s. The male was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene,” a spokesperson from An Garda Síochána said.
The state pathologist has been notified, and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The man’s body has been removed from the scene.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified and is currently at the scene along with An Garda Síochána.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
