Two brothers, Jordan and Cian Adams, were spotted running their 28th consecutive marathons in Carlow on the weekend last.
The FTD brothers are running after their mam told that she had ‘Early-Onset’ Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) on the 23rd June 2010.
Their mam sadly, on 14th March 2016, at the age of 52 passed away peacefully at their family home.
To raise awareness on the condition, the brothers were spotted running their 28th consecutive marathon in Carlow on the weekend.
Carlow triathlon club created a post for the brothers which said: "These guys and their crew were so wonderful. Showing incomprehensible physical and mental strength. They are truly inspiring.

"They epitomise what happens when people come together. When people come together, good things happen and it was great to see the people of Carlow come together today. We wish the brothers and their families the very best going forward. Many thanks to @pauldoogue for funding refreshments for all and Carlow jerseys for the brothers today.
"Thanks also to @dinn_ri_bar for sending sandwiches to the finish line. I have to mention club member and PRO Bryan Duignan who put all the thought, planning and effort in to bringing this all together today. As a transplant recipient, Bryan knows all too well how special and fragile life is and wasn’t going to let the boys pass Carlow without a serious welcome and send off".
