Kilkenny booked a place in the league final with an eight point win over Limerick on Saturday

Kilkenny will face Clare in the Allianz Hurling League Final in FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday, April 6 with throw-in at 7.15pm.

The match will be the Cats' second successive league final following last year's loss to Limerick. However, after beating the same opposition by eight points in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaomh on Saturday night, Derek Lyng's side will go into the contest full of optimism.

Meanwhile, Clare also had eight points to spare in their semi-final win over Tipperary in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise on Sunday, and will be aiming to secure a second win over the Noresiders in this league campaign after a three point victory over Kilkenny in Cusack Park last time out.

Ticket information will be available shortly on www.kilkennygaa.ie and the game will be screened live on TG4.
