Following a combination of rain this week and the forecast for further heavy rain today (Friday) and overnight, Saturday’s scheduled Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Quarter-Final games in UPMC Nowlan Park have been relocated, the Kilkenny County Board have confirmed.

Young Irelands and St Lachtains will now be played in Canon Kearns Park, Castlecomer at 2pm, while Tullogher Rosbercon and Dunnamaggin has been rescheduled for Mullinavat at 4pm.

Sunday's quarter-finals involving James Stephens and the Blacks & Whites (2pm) and Mooncoin against Danesfort (4pm) are still going ahead as originally fixed in UPMC Nowlan Park.

Furthermore, the JJ Kavanagh Premier Junior Section B Semi-Final between city rivals O'Loughlin Gaels and Dicksboro will now be played at 2pm rather than at the previously allocated 12pm throw-in time in St John's Park on Sunday afternoon.
