Company seeks permission for wind turbine on their site in Kilkenny
Queally Pig Slaughtering Limited is seeking planning permission from Kilkenny County Council to erect a 2MW wind turbine on their site at Grannagh Business Complex, Grannagh, County Kilkenny.
According to the plans, the wind turbine 'will be installed with a hub height of 64 meters and a blade radius of 35.5 meters, with underground ducting connecting to the existing ESB substation'.
Permission is also sought for all associated site works.
The application is currently awaiting validation from Kilkenny County Council.
Upon validation, a decision will be expected by February 1, 2024.
