Concerns raised over bogus calls to homes in Kilkenny

Local Gardaí are advising people not to engage with bogus callers to houses under the pretence of carrying out outdoor work, power washing, cleaning roofs, gutters or other household jobs.

A laminated notice is being made available at garda stations in Co Kilkenny stating: 'No workmen required or requested here. Thank you.'
