Driver wanted by the courts is arrested after 'cheeky manoeuvre' in Kilkenny
The driver also tested positive for cannabis
Earlier today, a garda on patrol on the Ring Road 'observed a cheeky manoeuvre', according to a garda spokesperson.
"The driver of a van was driving up the right lane as if taking third exit from the roundabout and then mid-roundabout going straight while loads of patient motorists were queuing away.
"When the garda stopped the vehicle he discovered it lacking a certificate of road worthiness and it was seized.
"The driver then failed a roadside drugs test for cannabis and was arrested.
"As if this wasn't enough there was a bench warrant for the driver and he was brought before the court on this."
Results are awaited on the test.
