E-scooter rider in Kilkenny receives fixed charge penalty
A statement was recently issued by gardaí in Kilkenny
Gardaí in Kilkenny issued a fifty euro fixed charge penalty notice to an e-scooter rider last Thursday night for using an e-scooter on a footpath.
"Pedestrians are greatly endangered by these vehicles when not used within the law," a garda spokesperson said.
"Before anyone asks, this pic (above) was taken by the passenger in the patrol car.
"The emoji does not reflect the attitude of the recipient."
