Entrance to Co Kilkenny nature reserve to receive upgrade

Plans have been lodged for upgrade works at the entrance to Ballykeeffe Wood in Co Kilkenny.

These works include the provision of a new dwell area and the setting back of an existing boundary wall to improve the image of the area.

New wing walls, surfacing and signage are also planned.

The woods are popular for walkers, attracting people from the Ballycallan, Kilmanagh and wider Kilkenny areas to use its walkways and take in the nature and wildlife of the area.
