Exciting new addition planned for hotel in Kilkenny
Plans have been submitted to Kilkenny County Council
Plans have been lodged for alterations to the existing Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel at 33 Patrick Street Lower/1 Ormonde Street, Kilkenny.
Amongst the proposals, permission is being sought for alterations at ground floor level 'to convert the existing covered smoking area adjoining the bar for use as a coffee dock including provision of take out service with customer access via the existing door and gate opening onto Patrick Street'.
Also planned are alterations at basement floor level to provide hotel administration offices and staff facilities in the former bar space and alterations at third floor level to convert hotel administration offices and two bedroom suites to five individual bedrooms.
The planning application is awaiting validation from Kilkenny County Council.
