Garda probe into criminal damage at Kilkenny home

Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating an incident of criminal damage at a property in a housing estate on the outskirts of Kilkenny City.

The incident took place in Ashfield East on the Old Golf Links Road on Friday, October 25.

Between 5.15pm and 5.35pm the resident of house was upstairs, when they heard a loud bang and discovered that the frame of rear door broken.

Nobody entered house but the damage caused was very costly.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or if there were any similar incidents in the area on Friday afternoon to report them to Kilkenny gardaí on (056) 777 5000.
