Gardaí warn against irresponsible result celebrations tonight in Kilkenny
Junior Cert results were issued to students all across Kilkenny today and local gardaí have issued a statement calling for responsible celebrations tonight.
"What's the plan lads?," a garda spokesperson posted on social media.
"A family meal? A trip out with friends? or A house party with copious amounts of alcohol served to minors? Dropping them into town unsupervised drinking with friends? Arriving intoxicated at an underage disco? Ignoring consequences?
"Please celebrate safely and encourage and assist all in your household to celebrate safely. Remember, a night to remember is one you can remember."
