Gowran Abbey nursing home in Cois Nore fundraiser on Saturday

A MAJOR fundraiser for Cois Nore, the cancer support centre which will open shortly on Walkin Street, Kilkenny will be held on Saturday in Gowran Abbey Nursing home between 3 and 6pm.

There will be live music, face painting and karaoke and a raffle with auctioneer George Candler. There are some excellent raffle items including a hurley and sliotar signed by the senior Kilkenny hurling team along with free gym membership for six months in the Springhill Hotel and golf for four people in Mount Juliet.
