Kilkenny barber to appear on RTÉ's First Dates Ireland this Thursday

Gary Lyons is set to appear alongside his brother Anthony on RTÉ's First Dates this Thursday.

Gary is also known as 'MC Daycent' and rose to fame by reaching the semi-finals of Ireland's Got Talent in 2019.

From Thurles, Gary works as a barber by day in Kilkenny, and is well-known in the city and county.

Since his stint on the national talent show, he has grown quite the social media following on Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.

This will be his second time appearing on the show.

After a less than 'daycent' outcome on his first date, things heat up for Gary (36) on this date as he encounters the ‘chaotic energy’ of fire breathing Oriel (33) from Kildare.
