Kilkenny gardaí begin major operation
Local gardaí are attempting to make public transport a 'safe place'
As part of Operation Scathlan, Kilkenny gardaí will regularly be attending local bus and train stations to ensure anti social behaviour isn't taking place and that public transport 'remains a safe place for all travellers'.
The operation is already underway with Gardaí visiting MacDonagh Train Station in the city on Sunday evening.
