Kilkenny gardaí return stolen bicycle to 'delighted' owner (90s)

An Garda Síochána Kilkenny have urged cyclists to lock their bicycles
A bicycle stolen from a man in his 90s in Kilkenny City on Wednesday morning was recovered and returned to its owner just hours later.
An Garda Síochána Kilkenny said community gardaí were "delighted" to reunite Sean with his bicycle after it had been taken earlier in the day.
Sharing a photograph of the happy reunion, gardaí highlighted how important the bicycle is to its owner.
"This fantastically impressive young man (90+ years young) uses his bike to get around town and was delighted to have it returned," An Garda Síochána Kilkenny said.
The force also used the incident to remind cyclists to take precautions when leaving their bicycles unattended.
"Please ensure you lock up your bike if parking them around the city," gardaí added.
The quick recovery meant Sean was able to get back on the road the very same afternoon, with Gardaí describing themselves as "delighted" to return the bicycle to its rightful owner.
