Kilkenny keeper to kickstart community hurlathon - with big raffle on the day!

From this week's Windgap-Tullahought Notes...
Kilkenny All-Star goalkeeper Eoin Murphy is making a most welcome visit to Windgap hurling club on Friday evening to turn on the Christmas lights for the club’s 24-hour hurlathon.
Starting at 6pm the hurlathon continues on the hurling wall throughout the night to finish at 6pm on Saturday with players from all the four codes participating.
The Landy family, representing all of the club’s three adult sides, are on the halfway slot at 6am.
The event will have an array of long puck and striking the Christmas targets for teams, sale of playing gear, guess the number of sliotars, spot the ball and hanging tough for adults.
As always the kettle will be on the boil with live music on Saturday evening.
In conjunction with the hurlathon, a monster raffle will be held at 6pm with €1,000, Bruce Springsteen tickets in Nowlan Park and a weekend hotel break being among the prizes.
