Kilkenny minor camogie side receive bye into All-Ireland semi-finals

Defending champions Kilkenny have been drawn to go straight into the semi-finals of the Tesco All-Ireland Minor Camogie Championship.

The Cats claimed group victories over Clare and Waterford earlier this month and along with Tipperary they have advanced to the last four.

Club and school commitments have restricted preparation time for Mike Wall's team thus far so they can look forward to a good block of training before they fight for a place in a second successive final.

The Quarter-Finals see Munster rivals Cork and Waterford meet while Galway also face off against Wexford with the two games scheduled to take place next weekend and the semi-finals commencing a week later.
