Kilkenny minor team named for Leinster Championship clash with Galway

The Cats entertain the Tribesmen in Nowlan Park at 1pm on Saturday

Kilkenny minor manager Gordon Byrne has made two changes to his team for tomorrow's Leinster Championship clash with Galway in UPMC Nowlan Park.

Danesfort's Mathew Corr misses out after being sent off in the 4-18 to 0-14 win over Westmeath a week ago and he is replaced by Jamie Walsh (Bennettsbridge) with Jack Bolger going out to midfield.

The second change sees Blacks and Whites player Ross Phelan starting at corner forward in place of James Kavanagh as the home team look to make it two wins from two.

Galway also come into the game in confident mood after defeating Laois in the opening round and the winners of Saturday's clash will take a giant leap towards advancing to the semi-finals.

Throw-in for the game is at 1pm.
