Kilkenny participants sought for popular BBC television show

Popular award-winning BBC TV programme The Repair Shop is returning for another series and this time the producers have extended their search for participants with interesting items to Kilkenny.
The show features a team of skilled craftspeople who restore items that their owners fear may be beyond saving.
Since launching in 2017, the experts have saved more than a thousand precious items and historical artifacts.
Memorable fixes include an iconic rocking horse, a Jewish prayer book that survived Theresienstadt concentration camp, a grip that was used to travel over on the Windrush ships and a 2,000-year-old Chinese statue.
There has been a plethora of items from musical instruments to beautiful antique paintings, and charming household objects.
The team are now searching for more hidden treasures waiting to be discovered and brought back to life at the barn.
