Learn how to restart a heart at free upcoming event in Kilkenny
Monday, October 16, is World Restart-a-Heart Day.
It's a day when local people are encouraged to learn CPR so that, one day, they might be able to restart someone's heart from cardiac arrest and save a life.
Teams of Community First Responders from across Kilkenny are going to be in MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre on Saturday, October 14 from 12-4pm teaching people how to perform hands-only CPR and use a defibrillator.
If someone already knows the skill, this would be a great chance to practice.
