Local pub completes 'investigation' into 'stolen' item

The Kilkenny pub took to social media for help back in March

A Kilkenny City pub successfully recovered a treasured painting which was reportedly 'stolen' from the premises earlier this year with many locals puzzled by the disappearance.

A painting was 'stolen' off the wall of Ryan's pub in Friary Street over the March Bank-Holiday weekend.

"Make it too hot to handle, keep an eye out please! Reward offered," the pub posted to social media.
