Major Kilkenny festival needs your help as funding has been 'greatly reduced'

Kilkenny’s Thomastown Creative Arts Festival appeals for support at June 28 coffee morning
Thomastown Creative Arts Festival (TCAF) is calling on residents, artists and supporters to come together at a coffee morning fundraiser this Saturday, June 28, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Thomastown Community Centre.
With this year’s festival set to take place from August 8 to 17, the organising team has issued an urgent appeal as funding for 2025 'has been greatly reduced'.
The coffee morning aims to help cover the cost of festival essentials including brochures, artist advertising and free community activities.
“This coffee morning isn’t just about raising funds, it’s about rallying together as a community to protect something we all love,” said TCAF committee member Natalia Caulfield.
“TCAF brings people together across generations and backgrounds, and is a vital part of our town’s identity.”
Organisers encourage attendees to bring or buy a cake and enjoy a friendly chat, while supporting a cause that showcases local talent and creativity.
