Motorist operating 'on borrowed time' has vehicle seized by gardaí in Kilkenny
The driver of an uninsured vehicle caught driving at 74km/hr in a 50km/hr zone has had their vehicle seized by gardaí.
"With extra speeding checkpoints and 20 extra mandatory intoxicant testing checkpoints around Kilkenny all weekend, this motorist was on borrowed time," a garda spokesperson said.
"He had to be lucky every day, not today."
