Permission granted for upgrade works at popular visitor site in Kilkenny
Kilkenny County Council have granted permission for upgrade works to the entrance to Ballykeeffe Woods from the nearby R695.
These works are to include regrading to provide a new dwell area and the setting back of the existing boundary wall to improve sightlines.
Also planned are new wing walls, new surfacing and signage along with all associated site development works.
Permission was granted, subject to seven conditions, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
