Pick the purr-fect name for this Kilkenny cat

Kilkenny hurling fans had reason to cheer on Sunday last, with the senior hurlers booking their second All-Ireland Final appearence in two years.

The Cats are chasing their first All-Ireland title since 2015, with four in a row chasing Limerick standing in their way.

GAA fans across the city and county are now on the search for tickets, as men, women and children dream of Liam's return to Noreside.

To get you in the mood, Matt the Millers are looking for your help, as they look to name one of the city's most famous hurling landmarks.

The 'Name our Cat' competition will look to christen Kilkenny's 'Ultimate Cat', which sits proudly on the roof of Matt the Millers.

The Kilkenny mascot has been at the heart of Kilkenny life for years, overlooking the River Nore.

Customers are reminded that the big game will be shown on the day with a 'After Match Party' featuring live music, our resident DJ and late late bar!
