Plans for new six-storey hotel in Kilkenny

Penny Pudding Limited have announced their intention to apply for planning permission to develop a six-storey hotel on the corner of Pennyfeather Lane and Pudding Lane in Kilkenny City.

A site notice confirming the intention of the applicant to develop the site has been erected.

The applicant will seek to conduct clearance works on the site (.059ha), including the demolition of an existing restaurant building.

The planned six-storey hotel is to have a setback fourth floor level with a plant room located on the fifth floor.

In total, 67 ensuite rooms are envisaged within the hotel alongside a foyer/reception, bar and restaurant facilities.

The applicant will also seek a vehicle set-down areas off Pudding Lane and Pennyfeather Lane, 12 bicycle spaces, landscaping, drainage works and all associated works to facilitate the development.
