Refreshed plans for new housing development locally lodged with Kilkenny County Council
The planning application was lodged with Kilkenny County Council
Plans for a residential development at Margaret’s Fields on the Callan Road in Kilkenny have been submitted for amendment.
The application, submitted by Belindere Homes Ltd to Kilkenny County Council proposes changes to a previously approved residential development, which was granted permission.
Under the proposed changes, 14 three-bedroom houses would be replaced with 14 four-bedroom homes.
A further 14 two-bedroom houses would be replaced with 14 three-bedroom homes.
The plans would also see the existing 14 on-street parking spaces replaced with 28 parking spaces located within the individual properties.
A single-storey bin and bike store would also be relocated as part of the proposed amendments.
The application includes all associated site development works required to facilitate the changes.
The proposed development is located at Margaret’s Fields, Callan Road, Kilkenny.
A decision is expected by the local authority in October.
