The nationally renowned Art and Soul International Art and Sculpture Exhibition will arrive in a magnificent new setting next month - the five-star Mount Juliet Estate in Co Kilkenny.

Forming part of Kilkenny Arts Festival and taking place from August 8 to September 5, the historic Georgian estate will play host to one of the country's most unique visual arts experiences. The venue will be transformed into an extraordinary open-air gallery, where more than 100 life-size outdoor sculptures will be set throughout the estate’s 500 acres of gardens and parkland.

Widely regarded as one of Ireland's premier destinations, Mount Juliet Estate, surrounded by ancient woodland and situated along the River Nore, provides an exceptional backdrop for the exhibition.

The elegant 1757 Manor House, the heart of the estate, will become an indoor gallery showcasing an outstanding collection of contemporary artworks by some of the world's most influential artists, including Andy Warhol, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Bridget Riley and Tracey Emin, alongside exceptional contemporary Irish painters and sculptors.

Among the highlights are a remarkable collection of life-size outdoor sculptures by world-renowned artists Salvador Dalí, Philip Jackson and Michael Ayrton, together with an impressive six-metre by three-metre installation by acclaimed British sculptor Sophie Ryder.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors can also enjoy a programme of artists' talks and daily guided tours, offering unique insights into the creative processes behind the works on display and the stories of the artists who created them.

"Art and Soul is about creating an unforgettable experience where world-class art can be enjoyed outside the traditional gallery setting,” said Oliver Gormley.

“Mount Juliet Estate is one of Ireland's most beautiful estates, and its magnificent gardens, historic architecture and peaceful surroundings provide the perfect stage for these extraordinary works of art.

“Whether you're a seasoned collector or simply someone who enjoys beautiful places, this exhibition offers a truly unique opportunity to experience art in an inspiring environment."

The Mount Juliet estate and its thoughtfully-restored Manor will also offer art-lovers Michelin-starred dining, luxurious accommodation and unforgettable experiences. Art and Soul International Art and Sculpture Exhibition will run from August 8 to September 5. The event is free to attend, and will open from 11am-7pm daily, with guided tours available to book at Gormleys.ie.
