St Patrick's Centre in Kilkenny rebrands as 'Aurora: Enriching Lives, Enriching Communities'

St Patrick’s Centre, Kilkenny (SPC) has rebranded as 'Aurora: Enriching Lives, Enriching Communities'.
A launch event took place at Parade Tower in Kilkenny yesterday.
The organisation is wholly funded by the HSE to support 75 people to live their good lives as equal and valued members of their communities. SPC achieved decongregation in December 2020 and the people they support are now living in their own homes in communities in Kilkenny and Carlow.
The campus site on the Kell’s Road has since been decommissioned and is for sale. As a result of these significant events, the Board of Directors decided now is the time to rebrand the organisation to better reflect these changes.
The Board are keen to write a new chapter in the story of SPC and rebrand the service as a modern, forward thinking and dynamic service provider.
As of yesterday (Tuesday), SPC is known as Aurora Enriching Lives, Enriching Communities. CEO Annette Ryan promises that nothing will change except the name.
“This is an exciting timefor all our stakeholders including the people we support, their families and our employees," she said.
"With the changing of our name, we continue to enrich lives and enrich the communities of Kilkenny and Carlow.”
