Teen hospitalised following collision in Kilkenny

A teen has been rushed to hospital following a collision earlier this evening (Thursday) in South Kilkenny.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the collision between a car and a motorcycle at Carrigeen Road, Mooncoin, shortly after 6pm.

The motorcyclist, a male in his late teens, was taken to Waterford Hospital for medical assessment.

His injuries are not life-threatening.
