Urgent appeal for blood donors across Kilkenny
The national supply is now down to three days stock, with clinics scheduled in Kilkenny later this month
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service have issued an urgent appeal for blood donors.
They are looking for an extra 2,000 donations over the next four weeks, as the national blood supply for some blood groups has now fallen to under three days.
There are clinics scheduled for Kilkenny City (O'Loughlin Gaels GAA Club) from July 10, and you can see further details on 'giveblood.ie'.
New donors are always welcome.
