ALERT: Delays expected as work takes place on Rice Bridge in Waterford city

Delays are expected as work takes place on Rice Bridge in Waterford city this morning.

A single outbound lane on the bridge will be closed from 7am to 9am this morning.

This is to facilitate the installation of cabling as part of wider refurbishment works.

Traffic management measures will be in place. However, motorists are advised to expect some delays.

Waterford City and County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused during the course of the works.
