EXPLAINER: Do Waterford people who already had Covid-19 need to get the vaccine?

The HSE has advised members of the public to get vaccinated even if they have already had Covid-19. 

"This is because you could become infected with the virus again," it is stated on HSE.ie. 

"Even if you do get Covid-19 again, the vaccine can reduce the seriousness of your symptoms."
