Kick or Treat At The Carbally Community Centre

The official opening of the new astro turf pitch at the Carbally community centre will take place this Halloween, Sunday 31st of October. We’ll be kicking off with a ‘Pubs League’ competition on the day, with great prizes for the winners. To book in a team for the tournament please ring Mary at 086 8908387.

There will also be many other attractions, ‘The Carbally Country Fair & Market’ will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the vendors attired in Fancy Dress. They’ll have loads of great bargains on offer, so don’t miss out. You can ring Terrie at 086 3118837 to book a stall.

We’ll also have a ‘Halloween Tug Of War’ contest for those that like to use their strength. For the younger ones we’ll have lots of traditional Halloween games. We’ll have kid’s races and a ‘Pet Dog Show’ as well. It will be a howl.

If all of that wasn’t enough there will also be live music featuring, ‘Martyn Travis’, ‘The Market Buskers’, ‘The Carbally Ukulele Band’ and to top it all off we’ll have the ever popular ‘ABBA Tribute Band’ live on stage. (Real people, not holograms.)

People attending are encouraged to come in Halloween themed Fancy Dress. There’ll be prizes for the best costume. So be sure to come along and chase the witch around the pitch and maybe score a goal or two.

‘The Carbally Market’ starts at 12:00 p.m. and the rest kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with the final whistle at 4:00 p.m. This is going to be the ‘Kick or Treat’ event of the year and you don’t want to miss it.
