‘Waterford Helping The Homeless’ were forced to vacate the Maranatha Community Centre last month after seven years of being based in the building.
They are still yet to find a new home and are currently providing their services out of the boot of a car in Railway Square.
The group of volunteers provide breakfast daily and dinner two evenings per week to homeless people in Waterford.
They updated followers on their situation in a post on Facebook last weekend.
A ‘Waterford Helping The Homeless’ spokesperson said: “So this is our reality now guys. This is us in Railway Square this morning, having breakfast with the lads.
“Everybody was soaked to the bone and it’s just going to get worse.
“This is what we have to look forward to until somebody helps us secure a new building or a new premises of any sort so that we can feed our homeless friends.
“Things are just getting worse weather wise and we just need help. We’re doing our best but that’s all we can do for now.”
They concluded by thanking everyone for their support.
A GoFundMe page which was set up to support the group has raised over €3,400
