Partick Thistle held by Dunfermline

Partick Thistle missed the opportunity to go top of the Scottish Premiership after being held to a 1-1 draw at Dunfermline.

Tony Watt gave Thistle a 14th-minute lead when Robbie Fraser’s errant pass was collected by Aidan Fitzpatrick, who released his striker for the opener.

But Dunfermline equalised four minutes before the interval when Andrew Tod was on target with a superb long-range effort.

The draw keeps Thistle in second place, with Stenhousemuir one point clear at the top of the table.
