IN PICTURES: Western Trust Clinical Trials Team host coffee morning

The coffee morning was held to say thank you to cancer clinical trials patients

The Western Trust Clinical Trails Team based at C-Tric, Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry hosted a coffee morning this week to say thank you to cancer clinical trials patients for their time and dedication to research.

Staff and patients spent an enjoyable morning chatting and availing of meditation and soundbath therapy session, which everyone found very relaxing.

Caitriona Lavery, Research Nurse Manager said: “It is important for us to acknowledge the many cancer patients who have participated in clinical trials research, which will help improve patients care in our community in the future.

“Thank you to everyone who came along to our coffee morning and we hope you enjoyed your cuppa and therapies.”
