Gallery: Kerrykeel's St Patrick's Day parade shows its worth working for

Kerrykeel played host to a top class St Patrick's Day parade on Friday, with a fundraising drive which you can assist currently in operation to make sure there's more of the same in 2024

The organisers of the Kerrykeel St Patrick's Day parade are currently undertaking a fundraising drive to ensure the future of the St Patrick's Day event.

A GoFundMe has been set up and if the evidence of this year is anything to go by, all support would ensure the continuation of the festivities for many years to come.

"Monies gathered will be spent on insurance, barriers, rental of PA and sound equipment, marketing etc, the event organisers said. "Your support for this cause is vital to its success and survival. Any surplus funds raised this year will be put to use for the parade in 2024."

Setting off from the Old School there was a wash of colour with tribute paid to Milford's Amber Barrett, whose goal last October against Scotland confirmed a place in the Fifa Women's World Cup finals for the Republic of Ireland for the first time ever.
