PICTURES: Celebrations as local villages win big at the Louth Looking Good Awards

Th ceremony recognised and rewarded the dedicated volunteerism and environmental responsibility demonstrated by Tidy Towns groups and residents’ associations in their localities.

The Fairways Hotel in Dundalk hosted the Louth Looking Good awards ceremony which saw community groups across Louth rewarded for their dedication to volunteerism and pride in their localities. 

Dromiskin was a bigger winner on the night, being crowned the overall winner of Louth Looking Good for a second year in a row. Dromiskin's Tidy Towns Committee Chairman Pat Mulligan was named as Environmentalist of the Year and the village was awarded the Climate Action Award, Waste Minimisation Award, Biodiversity Award, Youth Award, as well as coming second in the Seasonal Display category.
