Mohammed was recently announced as the host of a new stage adaptation of the hit BBC reality show.

Claudia Winkleman has taught Nick Mohammed how to strut around the roundtable as he prepares to host The Traitors stage show.

The Ted Lasso actor, 46, was a contestant on the first series of The Celebrity Traitors, where he reached the final but lost to fellow comedian Alan Carr.

Mohammed was recently announced as the host of The Traitors – Acts Of Betrayal, a new stage adaptation of the hit BBC reality show, which is headed to the West End next spring.

The comedian is shown learning the tricks of the trade from The Traitors host Winkleman during a video filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, where the BBC version of the show is filmed.

As the pair stand before a roundtable filled with blindfolded contestants, Winkleman says: “Right, Nick. First things first.

“Let’s talk about the walk. At the start of every game, you circle the table and choose your traitors. So, here we go.”

The TV presenter, 54, begins to strut around the table as her heels clack against the floor before coming to an abrupt stop near one of the contestants.

She asks: “Did you see what I did?”

After Mohammed says he did not see her do anything yet, she adds: “Well thank you, but no. What I have done is stopped.”

As Winkleman continues to pace around the table, Mohammed tries to imitate her actions, and she watches on while offering instructions: “A bit slower… And stop!”

“Hurts, that,” Mohammed said after coming to an abrupt stop, to which Winkleman responds: “We’ll get you a thicker sock.”

The TV presenter previously swore Mohammed into his new role as The Traitors host in a trailer for the upcoming stage show, in which she joked: “I’m out of a job.”

The Traitors – Acts Of Betrayal will be staged at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London next year, with previews beginning on May 11 ahead of its opening night on June 8.

Written by John Finnemore and directed by Robert Hastie, the stage show is a cycle of five new plays, each playing out an entire game of The Traitors.

The production sees traitors chosen, players banished and murdered, and a winner crowned, all in one evening.

It also does something television cannot, and answers the question of who would have won if different players had been chosen as the traitors.

From Monday to Friday the story begins identically but takes five different paths.

Characters banished or murdered early in one version emerge victorious in another.

On Saturdays the audience decides who will wear the cloak, and their choice determines which of the five plays unfolds that day.
