Abbeyfeale rounds off a day of celebration in Limerick on St Patrick's Day

THE final parade to take place in County Limerick this St Patrick's Day was in Abbeyfeale as Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Templeglantine played the parade into procession.

Having kicked off just after 4pm, the parade, which passed through the length of the town, was led by An Garda Síochana, Limerick Fire and Rescue, and two adorable Irish Wolfhounds.

MC Kathleen Harnett described each float to a comedic tee as they passed her by.

From dancers to sportspeople, and even a few cartoon characters, the parade brought laughter and excitement from those who lined the streets

As the county's final parade of the day, the community went all out donning their green and waving the tricolour for another parade they won't forget.
