Financial advisory SYS Financial are set to buy Claregalway’s Q Financial who provide financial services such as investments, pensions, life insurance and mortgages.
The deal will see the Galway office remain open adding to SYS’ places in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Tipperary in their tenth acquisition since 2025.
Operating since 2015, SYS Financial said the purchase adds €120 million to its clients assets under management which stands at over a billion euro after the new acquisition.
Speaking about the deal, Tony Delaney, CEO of SYS Financial, said: "We look for talented teams who put clients first every day and who have earned the trust of their local communities.
“That's exactly what Q Financial has built in Galway over many years, and it's why we're so pleased to welcome the team to SYS Financial.
"Our priority is to support them with the people, technology and resources they need to continue delivering the trusted advice their clients value.”
