Donoghue makes two changes for Galway's All-Ireland semi-final clash with Cork

MICHEAL DONOGHUE has made two changes for Galway’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi-final clash with Cork on Saturday.
Joshua Ryan and Gavin Lee both come into the Galway starting XV. Meanwhile, Cian Daniels drops out of the Tribesmen’s starting XV. Rory Burke who came off injured with a hamstring injury in Galway’s Leinster final win over Dublin misses the All-Ireland semi-final through injury.
Galway goalkeeper Darach Fahy is named behind a full back line of Ryan, Cillian Trayers and captain Darren Morrissey. Ronan Glennon shifts to the half-back line, where he is joined by Daithí Burke and Pádraic Mannion. Burke, who suffered a knee injury in the Leinster final, has recovered in time to start Galway's All-Ireland semi-final against Cork.
Lee returns to the starting XV after featuring as a substitute in the Leinster final and will partner Tiernan Killeen in midfield. Darragh Neary moves into the half-forward line alongside Cathal Mannion and Tom Monaghan. Conor Whelan, Jason Rabbitte and Aaron Niland complete the full-forward line for the men in maroon and white. Turloughmore clubman Cillian Whelan has been brought into the 26-man Galway panel.
Micheal Donoghue’s side come into this clash on the back of a four week after winning the Leinster Championship. Galway are aiming to reach their first All-Ireland final since 2018.
