New Galway city business opens up in middle of Shop Street

The business could not ask for a more central location for footfall opening up right beside Coyotes nightclub
A brand new Galway city business has opened its doors smack bang in the middle of Shop Street.
Helen’s Signature Nails & Spa opened up to the public in early July in the old premises of Barry's Salon which is situated underneath Coyotes.
Punters will be able to get their nails extended, enhanced, coloured and pampered as well as any facial, waxing and eyebrow treatments of their choice.
As one door opens though, another one closes with two Galway city stores confirming their closures this week.
Delaney’s MACE has served the workers and community around Liosban Industrial Estate for the past seven years.
Sadly the store will shut for good on Thursday evening with owners saying it was “a very difficult decision” they had to make.
A heartbreaking notice on their shop window confirmed the closure which starts by saying “to our valued customers”.
“Delaney’s MACE Liosban want to thank all their valued customers for their support and custom over the past seven years.
“We are very sorry to share that we have made the very difficult decision to close the Liosban MACE store on Thursday July 9 at 6pm.”

It continues: “We want to extend a special thanks to our outstanding staff for their hard work and dedication.
“We look forward to continuing to serve you in our other stores at Carnmore, Headford, Tuam, Westport, Castlebar and Charlestown.
“From the management and staff of Delaney’s MACE Liosban - from the community serving the community.”
And as the US celebrated Independence Day, The Filling Station at Abbeygate Street closed its doors on July 4.
They leave a lovely mark on their city corner thanking everyone who has supported them over what they describe as ‘fabulous’ years.
Owner John said: “After 7 wonderful years, John has decided to close The Filling Station Eco Store.
“We want to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has supported us over the years.”
