Shantalla man jailed for robbery with a weapon

Galway bay fm newsroom - A 42-year-old Shantalla man has been sentenced to four years in prison with one year suspended for robbery at his local shop eight years ago.

Joe Walsh, with an address at 25 Davis Road, Shantalla, pleaded guilty at Galway Circuit Criminal Court to the robbery of €2,800 cash from the Mace shop on Shantalla Road, on July 29th, 2005.
