Galway bay Fm Newsroom

A project involving the refurbishment of Ballinasloe Town Hall has gone out to tender again.

Works include replacing the roof on the protected structure as well as remedial works inside using conservation approved techniques.

The deadline for tenders expires in two weeks time (Mar 14).

Up to 50 expressions of interest were received when the project was initially advertised in January.

It's hoped work can begin at the end of March.
