Go ahead given for 37,289 sq.m warehouse in Dundalk

Louth County Council has given the go ahead for the construction of a 37,289sq.m warehouse in Dundalk.

Urban Green Private Ltd acting on behalf of Trippier Ltd has been granted planning permission for the development at the Dundalk North Business Park on the Armagh Road in Dundalk. 

According to the planning application, the development will comprise a warehouse of 37,289sq.m, with internal two storey ancillary offices and canteen area of 960sq.m, as well as a gate house of 42.2sq.m. 

The application also provides for parking for 150 cars, 50 HGV parking spaces, 30 covered bicycle spaces and a water sprinkler tank of 290 m3. The development will be located on a c.11.33 ha site in the south section of the business park.

The application for planning permission was made in June of this year, with the local authority seeking further information on the planned development in August. Following the submission of further information on 29 September, Louth County Council granted conditional planning permission on 18 November 2022.
