Louth Weather: Few bright spells but mostly cloudy

A few bright spells on Thursday but mostly cloudy. Largely dry for most with just patchy rain and drizzle at times.

More widespread rain will develop in western parts during the evening.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 Celsius in moderate to fresh and gusty south to southeast winds, again strong winds at times near exposed coasts.

Thursday night: Wet and breezy with widespread rain. The rain will be heaviest in Munster and Leinster and may cause localised flooding. Northerly winds will be mostly moderate to fresh and gusty, but will become strong in Munster.

Lowest temperatures ranging between 9 degrees in the northwest and 14 degrees in the southeast.
