Free exhibition by Ukrainian artist taking place at the Clare Museum

A FREE exhibition by Ukrainian artist Liudmyla Sikorska is currently taking place in Ennis.
The Clare Arts Office and the Clare Museum have teamed up to present the show, entitled Where you are, there is Heaven.
Its concept is the conviction of the artist that where there is love, feelings and understanding inside of us, there is heaven.
Ms Sikorska was born in Ukraine before moving to Ireland in 2015.
She works primarily in oils, with her preference given to landscapes and still life.
She said: "I am an artist with a natural talent who has had a formal medical and legal education.”
For a long time, she said she combined professional work with artistic self-education.
She took private lessons from masters in Ukraine, Ireland and Slovakia. Her works are mainly in private collections in Ukraine, Ireland, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, New Zealand and USA.
In 2022, Ms Sikorska's painting, ‘Prayer for Ukraine’, was recognised at an international exhibition in Luxembourg.
The artist’s most recent exhibition took place in 2022 in Ennis.
This exhibition is free of charge and runs until June 23, 2023. All are welcome.
